Role and responsibility;
1. To have full responsibility for the delivery and management of sufficient resources, ensuring a secure and safe environment for the customer to operate within.
2. To manage all Mitie services operating on across the customers locations to ensure they meet the SLA's and financial agreements
3. Responsible for direct reports and development of (operation manager's/training manager/QHSE manager/administrators) assigned to support the retail account.
4. The position will be pivotal to the successful delivery and as such will have extensive interaction with the customer and the company.
5. To be responsible for the day to day contact, and the key customer decision maker for local arrangements and therefore, must be able to think and deliver at a strategic, operational and day to day level.
6. The successful delivery of this role will be achieved through the development of a collaborative working relationship with the customers senior stakeholder and Mitie management. Strong relationships with key stakeholders which must be built on trust and mutual respect, to develop a partnership to shape the customers future strategy.
7. The execution of the responsibilities, of the role, paying due regard to the lawful and ethical standards involved, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
8. Directing the operational management team and site based team responsible for employees across a range of services, disciplines and retail sites, delivering an integrated security and facilities
9. Achieve commercial objectives for both Mitie and the customer with profit and loss accountability
The ideal candidate would have;
10. Demonstrable skills and knowledge in a regulated field
· A solid understanding of health and safety in the workplace.
· Previous experience in a retail security based, senior managerial role
· Experience in management of systems backed physical security.
· Previous experience in managing P&L and costing services.
· A pro-active management style, and ability to demonstrate high level of people skills
· High standard of numeracy and literacy skills
· Minimum five years' experience in a retail security environment or similar
· Minimum three years' experience in an operational or senior role
· Proven account management experience
· Proven experience in problem solving and issue resolution on large accounts
· Positive communication – internal / external

5 year checkable background screening to BS standards
Valid SIA licence
