As a Senior Product Associate within the Product team at Aumni, you will be part of a transformative journey that is redefining venture portfolio management. Your role will involve empowering our customers with innovative tools for investment tracking, portfolio monitoring, and data analytics, thereby enabling them to make faster, smarter decisions. Specifically, you will serve as a customer-centric product manager for our new Company KPI product, promoting the product development lifecycle from discovery to delivery.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Build and maintain product roadmap aligning with business goals and customer needs
2. Gather insights from user research, customer feedback, market research, and internal stakeholders
3. Prioritize user needs, test ideas, and turn them into effective solutions with strong product sense and attention to detail
4. Work with data operations organization to develop new data processing solutions
5. Become an expert in understanding Aumni’s data models
6. Use data-driven insights to drive incremental improvements and prioritize new features
7. Collaborate and present complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences
8. Work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to drive product development and successful launches
9. Conduct user interviews and collaborate with customer-facing teams to gain customer insights
10. Translate research and feedback into insights that inform an actionable product roadmap
11. Gain a deep understanding of Venture Capital and Private Markets
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
* 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or similar product-focused role
* Experience applying agile development methodologies
* Strong product management skills including backlog management, writing user stories, and communicating requirements to engineers
* A customer-centric mindset
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders, team members, and leadership
* Understanding of design tools like Figma and ability to communicate low-fidelity ideas using them
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
* Experience building data and analytics products
* Understanding of the venture capital or financial industry ecosystem
* Knowledge of outcome-driven innovation and jobs to be done theory
