Job title: Freelance Front End/Web Developer
Location: Northampton Studio/Hybrid remote
Engine Creative is looking for a dynamic Front-End/Web Developer who brings enthusiasm, innovation, and a blend of expertise in front-end development to the table. Responsibilities
* Implement 3D and spatial features using React Three Fiber (training can be provided).
* Forge partnerships with designers to materialise UI/UX visions into captivating web encounters.
* Occasionally support back-end development with PHP and other server-side frameworks.
* Administer server deployments across AWS, 20i, and various VPS environments, ensuring robust and secure configurations.
* Engage in managing DNS and hosting intricacies with a sharp eye on performance and reliability.
* Innovate in AR, VR, and AI spaces, contributing to cutting-edge, forward-thinking solutions that redefine user interactions.
* Commit to lifelong learning, staying abreast of technological breakthroughs and industry developments.
Requirements
Education:
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline or comparable hands-on experience.
Experience:
* A track record of success in Front-End Development, with compelling project examples.
Technical Skills:
* WordPress adeptness or a strong willingness to learn.
* Interest or experience in 3D coding, spatial tech, and React Three Fiber is sought after.
* Grasp of PHP and back-end tech fundamentals.
* Proficiency with AWS and similar cloud services, along with hands-on server and DNS management skills.
* Exposure to AR, VR, and AI technologies would set candidates apart.
Soft Skills
* Meticulous problem-solving and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
