Senior Financial Analyst – Prime Video, APAC
Amazon's Prime Video team has an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the APAC operational accounting activities of Prime Video.
Key job responsibilities
- Supporting aspects of our accounting and reporting process.
- End-to-end process ownership to support finance and business partners.
- Understand internal control design concepts to assess the effectiveness of controls and design new effective processes and controls for emerging and growing business activities.
- Execute judgment and ensure the right decisions are reached to accurately report financial results.
- Drive projects, provide accounting guidance and often serve as first point of contact for finance and business partners to resolve issues.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
- Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes.
- ACA, CIMA, ACCA or similar credentials required.
- Experience of a monthly close cycle, periodic financial reporting and related analytical analysis with a knowledge of various GAAP accounting rules including US GAAP and IFRS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Experience working with a fast-paced, high-tech start-up or complex company.
- Demonstrated history of solving multiple complex operational and accounting challenges.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Experience working with Oracle.
