Were building a diverse, inclusive culture where everyone belongs.What Youll DoAs Electrical Engineer reporting to the Engineering Manager, youll drive maintenance excellence and system reliability across the plant.Youll work closely with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot, improve, and future-proof our electrical systems.Key responsibilities include:Leading 1-year and 35-year asset improvement plansImplementing Written Schemes of Examination and Risk-Based AssessmentsAdvising on repairs and inspection intervals to meet legal and business standardsSupporting plant upgrades, modifications, and CAPEX projectsDiagnosing faults using data, modelling, and system analysisPromoting best practices in maintenance and change managementTraining and mentoring engineers, fitters, and apprenticesDriving Health & Safety compliance and zero-harm cultureReviewing plant performance and leading root cause analysisImproving preventive maintenance plans with the Engineering PlannerWhat Youll BringExperience with Siemens S5/S7, Allen Bradley, & Mitsubishi PLCS'sStrong knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance strategies, and project deliveryHNC/D in Electrical Engineering / Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar18th Edition certification (essential)Familiarity with CMMS, databases, and project softwareDemonstrable ability to design, program and deliver working industrial control systemsIn addition to this role we also offer an extensive range of career development opportunities and industry-leading rewards, incentives and benefits including:Bonus schemeEnhanced holiday entitlementContributory pension schemeAccess to the Tarmac Reward website with discounts on retailers, holidays, etc.Access to our Employee Assistance helpline for free and confidential adviceAccess to join our Employee Communities (employee networks) we currently have nine communities inc.(REACH) Religious, Ethnic, Cultural Heritage, LGBTQ+, Parents & carers, Ability, Wellbeing, Female voice and menopauseTraining and development opportunitiesInterested?
