Join a leading commercial vehicle fleet management company with IRTEC-accredited workshops. We are currently recruiting skilled HGV Technicians to join our team in Haydock.
This role is perfect for an HGV Technician seeking career growth, great benefits, and a supportive work environment.
The Role:
* Perform diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on HGVs
* Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and repair orders
* Maintain a “right first-time” ethos to minimize rework
* Work closely with the VMU Manager to manage parts and labour for repairs
* Accurately record time spent on repairs and maintenance
* Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workshop
Requirements:
* NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 in HGV Maintenance (essential)
* Previous experience working on HGVs in a fleet or commercial setting
* Comfortable using workshop IT systems
* Safety-conscious and quality-focused
* Able to work independently or as part of a team
Desirable:
* Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
* Experience with tail lifts
Shifts & Pay:
* Day Shift – 4 on, 4 off: Up to £19.92 p/h (£43,500 per year)
* Night Shift – 4 on, 4 off: Up to £22.60 p/h (£49,500 per year)
