Wayman Education is looking for a Science Technician to work in an Outstanding School starting immediately on a full-time basis. Experience and Responsibilities
Experience (not all essential):
• Science-related Degree, A-Levels, BTEC, or equivalent laboratory background
• Experience in a laboratory, educational setting, or STEM-based technical role
• Understanding of safe chemical handling, preparation of reagents, and health & safety procedures (training provided)
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing, organising, and setting up practical equipment for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons
• Supporting teachers during demonstrations and practical experiments
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and CLEAPSS guidance
• Maintaining, repairing, and safely storing equipment
• Managing stock levels and assisting with ordering departmental resources
• Ensuring laboratories are safe, clean, and well-organised at all times

Salary
