Join our Compression Regional Service Sales team within Siemens Energy TI Compression as a Client Manager supporting customers from the Oil & Gas, chemical, and industrial sectors.
The Client Manager owns the client relationship, ensuring customer satisfaction, meeting client requirements, and driving Services bookings growth within their territory. The role involves leading all aspects of business and opportunity development from initial stages through order entry.
This position primarily focuses on the UK market and reports to the Head of Sales EU&AF.
You will be involved in some of the most exciting and challenging service and modernization projects in these industries. This is a highly networked role requiring the ability to work under challenging deadlines.
How You’ll Make an Impact
* Develop and manage long-term relationships with assigned clients.
* Develop and execute the sales capture plan (annual plan) and strategy for each customer, incorporating customer needs, equipment application, Siemens Energy strengths, competitor weaknesses, and a robust market pricing recommendation.
* Create and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline in Salesforce to support sales targets, managing opportunities via CRM (Salesforce.com).
* Maintain accuracy of the installed equipment data, including operating status and planned outages, in the territory.
* Prepare, coordinate, and conduct proposal negotiations until closure, collaborating with involved professionals.
* Conduct Win/Loss analyses and contribute to fighting guides and regional competitive analyses.
What You Bring
* Proven track record in driving results, growth strategies, and proactive sales opportunity creation and conversion in complex markets.
* Mandatory turbomachinery experience/knowledge; strong technical understanding of industrial compressors is preferred.
* Business English speaking and writing skills.
* Ability to work independently and interact across all customer organization levels; strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills focused on technical differentiation and value selling.
* Proficient in communication, both written and spoken; willing to travel as required.
