Department: Recruitment - South East
Employment Type: Contract
Location: Woking, Surrey
Compensation: GBP 25.00 - GBP 35.00 / hour
Description
Support a Young Person to Build Confidence, Life Skills and a Future in SportFor young people with conditions such as cerebral palsy and additional SEN or SEMH needs, the traditional classroom isn't always the right fit. That's why Fresh Start in Education offers personalised, in-home support placements designed to meet students where they are both physically and emotionally.
We're currently looking for Education Specialists to work 1:1 with young people in their home environment. These placements are not focused on academic education. Instead, the sessions will centre around mentoring, coaching, and life skills development, helping young people grow in confidence and independence.
With empathy, creativity, and consistency, you'll make a lasting impact, empowering them to pursue a future they are passionate about.

* Consistent availability to commit to a minimum of 2 sessions per week (a minimum of 2 working days)
* A commitment to keeping children and young people safe and a practical and up to date knowledge of safeguarding
The benefits
* Competitive hourly rate of GBP 25 to GBP 35 per hour
* Subsidised travel costs and GBP 15 per day for resources
* Free wellbeing and counselling service, pension option & store discounts
