NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in East Renfrewshire. We are a supportive team of 10 registered and non-registered practitioners based in Barrhead Health and Care Centre.
We deliver our service in clinics, schools and other community settings and are committed to developing inclusive communication environments in East Renfrewshire for all children and young people.
All members of the team work closely with colleagues in both Health and Education to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people. You will have access to Team Lead support as well as clinical support from a range of specialist practitioners.
We have experience of supporting Band 5 clinicians through Flying Start and their RCSLT competencies and can offer a wide paediatric experience for new graduates or practitioners looking to develop their skills with a paediatric caseload.
You will need to have a recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree and be registered with HCPC to be considered for this post.
