Veterinary Surgeon – Southeast London/Kent Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum (DOE) Location: Southeast London/Kent Hours: Full-time, no sole charge, no on-call About the Role We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Veterinary Surgeon with a medical bias to join a well-established small animal practice in Southeast London. You’ll be joining a friendly three-vet team, supported by an experienced group of nurses and support staff, with no sole charge responsibilities. The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including digital x-ray, a full dental suite, and a range of diagnostic tools. Out-of-hours care is provided by a nearby dedicated service, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. You’ll have the opportunity to work within a collaborative, vet-led community, benefiting from access to an extensive network of practices and specialists for case discussions and referrals. Key Responsibilities Conduct 15-minute consultations to assess, diagnose, and treat patients. Provide clients with advice on preventative healthcare and long-term pet wellbeing. Collaborate with veterinary surgeons, nurses, and support staff to deliver outstanding patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records. Take part in community-wide CPD initiatives and best practice sharing. Work with the Clinical Director to uphold high standards of care. Build strong relationships with clients and their pets. Perform a variety of surgical procedures according to your skillset.
