Business Development & Community Manager – Fraser House Hub, Lancaster

Salary £36,363 - £40,777 per annum | Permanent, Full time 37 hours per week.


Location & Overview

Join our Business Growth team at Fraser House Hub, Lancaster's flagship digital and technology co‑working space. Help shape the future of Lancashire's innovation ecosystem.


Responsibilities

* Lead the growth and success of Fraser House Hub, developing revenue streams through memberships, room hire, and events.
* Build strong relationships with members and the wider business community, fostering collaboration and creating opportunities.
* Deliver marketing and social media activity to promote Fraser House and attract new members.
* Plan and deliver a programme of events that meet the needs of the community.
* Represent Fraser House at external events, raising the hub's profile and building partnerships.
* Manage budgets, financial reporting, and membership systems to ensure operational efficiency.
* Oversee building management, compliance, and day‑to‑day operations.
* Line manage and support the Community Coordinator to ensure smooth hub operations.


Requirements & Skills

* Proven experience in business development, sales, or revenue‑focused roles.
* Experience in community or membership‑based organisations is desirable.
* Strong marketing and social media skills, with the ability to drive engagement and growth.
* Financial acumen, including budget management and reporting.
* Excellent communication and networking skills with business leaders and stakeholders.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and balance strategic growth with day‑to‑day operations.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on results and growth.
* Passionate about supporting Lancashire's business and innovation ecosystem.


Additional Requirements

* You will need a car for duties and a business‑use vehicle insurance.
* Consideration may be given if you cannot drive because of a disability.
