£40,800 + Overtime Available
Monday-Friday Double Days
Week 1:- 6am-2pm / Week 2:- 2pm-10pm – both with early finish Fridays!

Our client is a leading packaging manufacturer, part of a multi-billion-pound global group, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. They are looking for a strong electrical biased maintenance engineer to join their close knit team of engineers.
Role & Responsibilities:
3. PPM & reactive maintenance on all production & packaging machinery and press shop tools
4. Electrical & mechanical fault finding & repairs
5. Working on conveyors, labellers, seamers, power presses, control panels, printers, palletisers
6. Electrical – motors, sensors, servo drives, inverters, control panels, circuits, contactors, relays
7. Electrical installation, safety, testing & inspection
8. PLC – electrical fault finding / problem solving
9. Mechanical – gearboxes, hydraulics, bearings, shafts, drives, belts, chains
10. Fault finding in control panels and wiring
11. Assist with maintenance on site services, facilities and associated plant equipment
12. Project work – new machine installations & development work
13. Monitor efficiencies, PPM plans and suggest improvements
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
14. Must be an electrically biased maintenance engineer / industrial electrician
15. Have previously worked in manufacturing industry
16. Ideally qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering as minimum
17. Completed a time-served-apprenticeship
18. PLC – electrical fault finding skills
19. Team player – working in a small team, everyone supports each other, helps in all areas
20. Must have strong electrical fault finding & problem solving skills
21. Beneficial to have 17th or 18th Edition
22. Dealt with PPM systems and happy to contribute towards improvement ideas
23. Willing to train mechanically if needed
24. Industrial electrical fault finding on control panels
25. Happy to support and work closely with apprentices
