This specialist provision school is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Geography Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring educator who is passionate about geography and eager to engage students in learning about the world around them. Beginning September 2025, this Geography Teacher role is 3 days per week, teaching across KS3 and KS4, alongside some RE teaching.
Duties as a Geography Teacher:
1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students at a secondary level.
2. Teach key topics such as physical and human geography, environmental issues, and global development.
3. Encourage critical thinking, research skills, and geographical enquiry.
4. Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their learning.
5. Contribute to the development of the geography curriculum and extracurricular activities.
Minimum Requirements:
1. A degree in Geography or a related subject.
2. Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) preferred.
3. Experience teaching Geography at a secondary level.
4. Strong communication and classroom management skills.
5. Passionate about geography and committed to inspiring students.
