About the Role
Are you a qualified nurse looking for a new challenge away from traditional clinical settings? We’re recruiting experienced professionals to join a respected health assessment service as a WCA Nurse Assessor. This hybrid role offers flexibility, structured hours, and the chance to use your clinical expertise in a non-treatment capacity.
You’ll conduct functional assessments for individuals with a range of health conditions and disabilities, following DWP guidelines. Using your clinical knowledge and empathetic approach, you’ll produce clear, evidence‑based reports that help inform benefit eligibility decisions.
What You’ll Do
* Carry out telephone, video, and face‑to‑face assessments
* Gather and evaluate evidence to understand functional impact
* Produce accurate, concise reports using multiple IT systems
* Maintain professional standards and engage in CPD
What We’re Looking For
* NMC registration with no restrictions
* Minimum 12 months post‑qualification experience
* Strong clinical knowledge across varied conditions
* Excellent communication and report‑writing skills
* Confident with IT systems and typing (30 wpm minimum)
