About the Role:
The Risk department supports the implementation and oversight of a robust framework that proactively ensures the firm’s licenses and regulatory relationships are effectively maintained.
The Credit Risk Manager will assist in developing the Risk department, working with internal and external stakeholders to protect the firm from financial risks and promote controlled growth aligned with the firm’s risk appetite.
This hands-on role supports the Head of Risk in embedding an effective risk management framework and acts as an ambassador for the Risk department, supporting the business’s global expansion. The role will own the Credit Risk Framework and policies, collaborating with all business areas to ensure sound risk management across all group entities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement the Credit function
2. Develop and monitor Credit operational policies
3. Enhance Credit Portfolio Monitoring
4. Integrate KPIs & KRIs into the Enterprise Risk Framework
5. Oversee the Credit function's overall direction and evaluation
6. Manage client-side collateral management calls
7. Handle credit risk management for all entities
8. Participate in the Credit Risk Committee and manage its terms of reference
9. Develop objectives for the credit analyst team
10. Create Management Information for ExCo and the Risk Committee on Credit exposures and portfolio appetite
11. Present key risk indicators to senior leadership
12. Review and recommend policy changes
13. Support credit recovery framework development
Who are we looking for?
* Understanding of the 3 lines of defence
* Knowledge of Financial Markets
* Deep understanding of Credit Markets
* Familiarity with MIFIDPRU regulations
* Credit analysis and presentation skills
* Collateral Management experience
* Knowledge of Portfolio and Recovery Frameworks
