The Role As a Financial Accountant, you'll be the backbone of our accounting operations, handling day-to-day bookkeeping, invoice processing, and journal entries. You'll play a vital role in preparing management accounts, trial balances, and cash forecasts while gaining valuable experience in project accounting for our exciting engineering and construction projects. Your Responsibilities: Manage financial records and prepare timely, accurate reports. Assist in creating monthly management accounts, including Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss Accounts, and payroll preparation. Reconcile accounts, prepare VAT returns, and ensure compliance with CIS regulations. Support project accounting tasks such as invoicing customers, processing payments to subcontractors, and compiling cost statements. What We're Looking For: Qualifications: AAT qualified (or equivalent) or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (minimum AAT level). Experience: Prior experience in construction or project-based industries is a plus. Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
