About the Role
This role involves working across two pharmacies — Unichem Stortford Lodge and Unichem Greenmeadows. You will be supporting dispensary operations and compliance packing, contributing to the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.
We operate in a fast-paced environment with a wide variety of tasks, both in the dispensary and on the shop floor with customer interaction. You’ll be joining a fun, supportive team with a wide range of products and services, where your skills will help ensure patients receive the right medications at the right time.
There is also scope for further development, including opportunities to train in vaccinations and support services within the Care and Advice Hub.
This is a Permanent Full-Time position, rostered 35–45 hours across 5 days from Monday–Saturday, including Saturday mornings on rotation.
*Separate part time positions at either pharmacy could be considered for the right applicant.
Do You Have What We’re Looking For?
* At least 1 year of experience in a New Zealand pharmacy
* Fully qualified or experienced Level 4 trainee technician
* Experience working with robots and rest homes is an advantage.
* A keen interest in the healthcare and pharmacy industry
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Basic computer competency, including pharmacy software
* Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
* Willingness to undertake on‑the‑job training and gain further qualifications
* Vaccinating Health Worker certification, or willingness to train
