Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist – Community Rehabilitation

Are you an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist looking to take the next step in your career? We are delighted to invite applications for a permanent Band 7 Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist working in community rehabilitation across the west of Moray.
About the Role
As a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality, person‑centred Occupational Therapy within the community. You will work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, offering community rehabilitation to adults with a broad spectrum of conditions affecting their daily functioning.
You will empower patients to improve and manage their own health and wellbeing through proactive Occupational Therapy interventions, self‑management strategies, and tailored functional rehabilitation.
What We’re Looking For
* Extensive Post‑graduate training and relevant clinical experience
* A commitment to further professional development
* Confidence working at Highly Specialist Practice level within a fast‑paced community rehabilitation
* Strong clinical reasoning, autonomy, and decision‑making skills
* The ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
You will receive clinical supervision from a Lead Occupational Therapist and will also provide supervision to a support worker.
A key part of this role includes promoting awareness of Occupational Therapy within community rehabilitation, supporting the development of the service, and contributing to ongoing service evaluation and improvement.
