Job Summary
Ophthalmology Nurse – Wessex Hospital – Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours per week). Annual salary up to £45,000 depending on experience. NHS professional registration required.
Key Responsibilities
* Support daily operations of the ophthalmology clinic.
* Assist in patient assessments and procedures.
* Operate advanced ophthalmic diagnostic equipment (OCT, Visual Field Analyzer, Pentacam, Biometry devices).
* Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure excellent patient care standards.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with relevant qualifications.
* Experience in ophthalmology or strong interest in eye care.
* Proficiency in using ophthalmic diagnostic equipment.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
