Position Overview and Objective The Sales Engineer is the technical backbone of the sales team, working alongside sales representatives to demonstrate and articulate the value of Arctic Wolf solutions to customers and partners throughout the sales process.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
* Provide technical expertise through presentations, demos, and discussions to educate and promote Arctic Wolf's value proposition.
* Engage in discovery conversations to understand customer needs and align solutions accordingly.
* Document customer environments, including security tooling, network design, and cloud services.
* Demonstrate key differentiators and understand the competitive landscape.
* Participate in growth activities such as webinars, channel enablement, and marketing events.
* Mentor new hires and foster a culture of knowledge sharing.
* Lead and participate in company initiatives like process improvements and content creation.
Key Skills
* Located in London, with a fully remote role.
* Deep knowledge of infrastructure components: Networking, Identity Management, Cloud Services, Virtualization, OS Windows/Linux/Mac.
* Understanding of security tools and strategies: security frameworks, operations, incident response, SIEM, XDR, EDR/EPP, IPS/IDS/NDR.
* Ability to articulate technical and business value to diverse audiences.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.
* Experience with sales processes and tools like SFDC and Microsoft 365.
* Experience with modern deployment technologies: containers, cloud models.

Minimum Qualifications
* At least 5 years in a customer-facing sales engineering role or 10 years in security consulting.
* Minimum 5 years working with channel/partner communities.
* At least 5 years supporting or designing enterprise IT/security systems.
Preferred Qualifications
* Certifications like CISSP, GCIH, CISA, CISM.
* 3+ years supporting enterprise IT/security systems.
* Proven overachievement in previous roles.
