The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As the Cleaning Supervisor, you will oversee a team of cleaners, ensuring that all areas of the club meet our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will manage the cleaning team, schedule shifts, recruit and train new staff, coordinate with suppliers for specialised services, and maintain a welcoming environment for guests and members.
* Ensure daily, weekly, and routine cleaning tasks are carried out in line with company standards.
* Inspect work of cleaning team, provide approval, and ensure equipment is in top condition.
* Oversee team’s schedule, adjust workloads as needed, and assist with recruitment and training.
* Manage stock levels, comply with health and safety guidelines, and enforce appropriate PPE use.
* Act as point of contact for maintenance issues related to cleaning equipment and machinery.
* Report incidents, including health and safety concerns, promptly.
* Ensure safe and secure closing of the building at the end of each shift.
* Attend regular training sessions and team meetings.
Schedule
* Operate 7 days a week business, including weekends and bank holidays.
* Cover a variety of cleaning shifts, including day and evening shifts starting at 09:00, 18:00, or later, depending on the schedule. Flexibility is key.
