Job Overview:
An exciting opportunity for a help‑desk operator in Salford. The role demands an experienced, fast‑paced, hardworking professional who can manage customer queries promptly and effectively. Immediate start is required.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. Expectation of 1 in 6–8 weekends (days off provided during the week). Weekend shifts are work‑from‑home due to office opening times. Shifts will always fall between 7:00 am – 7:00 pm.
Daily Responsibilities
* Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to customer service, client knowledge, system knowledge and attendance as captured in the operator balanced scorecard.
* Provide accurate records of all service request details into the appropriate systems.
* Deliver a level of customer service that meets or exceeds the service commitment.
* Accurately record details of all service requests.
* Exhibit clear and professional behaviour when communicating via telephone or email.
* Achieve a high degree of customer and supplier satisfaction.
Requirements for the Role
* Customer Service / Helpdesk experience.
* Good communication skills.
* Knowledge of computer databases and their applications.
* Planning and organising abilities.
* Analytical thinking.
