What you’ll be doing as Business Development Manager:
You will be focusing on acquiring new business, strengthening client relationships and increasing market shar supplying lubricants in the automotive, commercial, agricultural and industrial sectors.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive new business growth.
Identify and target new markets, industries, and opportunities.
Build a high-value pipeline of new clients through proactive lead generation.
Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts, ensuring high client satisfaction.
Act as the main point of contact for major clients, understanding their needs and challenges.
Provide technical advice on the product range.
Analyse sales performance metrics and adjust strategies to meet revenue targets.
Collaborate with internal teams to refine pricing, positioning, and value propositions.
Identify and implement process improvements to optimise sales operations.
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager with:
Experience in the Automotive product sales
Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or key account management.
Strong ability to close deals, negotiate contracts, and drive revenue growth.
Experience managing high-value key accounts and long-term client relationships.
Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
Valid driver's license and willingness / access to HP, HA, NW, W, and WD post codes
Excellent communication, persuasion, and leadership skills.
Experience in similar industry is desirable but not essential.
This role is suitable for someone who is currently in the UK, either local to the area or would relocate for the role.
