Partnership Information Manager

We seek an Information Manager who has a passion for using data to inform the design and delivery of health and care services and has the skills to monitor progress both quantitatively and qualitatively.
The Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board works with organisations and individuals across the region to drive an ambitious portfolio of programmes that make a real difference for communities. We are looking for a team player with experience of information processing and analysis and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, committed to social change across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will play a key role in providing the information necessary to inform the development and improvement of multi‑partner care services, and the resulting operational and financial impact. They will work within the RPB team, ensuring that its programmes receive robust informatics and analytical support, and will drive key planning tools for the region, including the Population Needs Assessment and the Market Stability Report.
The post holder will work closely with the RPB team and operational and clinical colleagues from partner organisations to provide a proactive information and analytics service. The analysis will be vital in targeting efforts at the right areas to deliver the greatest service improvements, requiring close collaboration to understand how the different services operate.
They will establish and maintain a close working relationship with partnership teams and members of the regional business intelligence teams. A collaborative approach with clinical and operational colleagues will be key to delivering successful analytics that drive change, improve outcomes, and enhance the efficiency and satisfaction of both patients and staff.
They will also maintain good working relationships with wider digital service colleagues.
Job responsibilities
This is a fixed‑term secondment for 8 months to meet the service needs. Applicants must obtain permission from their current line manager before applying.
