Procurement and Compliance Lead
Location: Epsom (largely office-based role, with 1-day WFH after initial period)
Salary: £40-50K (DOE) + Benefits

A growing, forward-thinking organisation is seeking a Procurement and Compliance Lead to take ownership of supplier governance, vendor management, and related operational compliance. About the Role
In this key position, you will ensure all suppliers, vendors, and partner organisations meet commercial, legal, regulatory, and operational standards. You’ll play a central role in maintaining robust procurement governance, supporting contractual processes, managing supplier relationships, and mitigating operational risk.
You will partner closely with Legal, Operations, Sales and Finance teams, acting as a subject-matter expert in procurement compliance and supplier performance management.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee supplier governance processes, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are fully met.
* Conduct regular supplier and vendor performance reviews, risk assessments and audits.
* Support internal teams with contracts, compliance documentation and partner agreements.
* Identify operational and supplier risks, developing mitigation strategies and implementing effective controls.
* Investigate and resolve compliance issues or process inefficiencies.
* Monitor changing industry standards and update internal processes accordingly.
* Deliver training and guidance to internal teams on best practices in procurement and operational compliance.
* Develop, document and improve procurement and compliance frameworks, policies and procedures.
* Contribute to the growth of the partner network, identifying and onboarding new suppliers.
Experience & Skills Required
* Proven experience in procurement governance, supplier compliance or vendor management.
* Background in a commercial, operational or compliance-focused environment (professional services or staffing sector beneficial).
* Strong understanding of due diligence, supplier onboarding, and risk management processes.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
* Highly organised, analytical and able to manage competing priorities.
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
