Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and expand the technical service team, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
* Oversee the design, maintenance, and support of audio systems for productions, rentals, and system integration projects.
* Manage all internal and external IT systems and infrastructure (networking, servers, software licensing, backup systems).
* Serve as the senior technical authority, providing expert guidance and troubleshooting for advanced audio systems across live productions and rental sectors.
* Develop and implement technical workflows and support protocols to ensure excellent client service.
* Collaborate with key manufacturers on technical issues and advances.
* Work closely with the R&D team to design, prototype, and test new products and features.
* Liaise with other departments and clients to scope, support, and deliver projects to the highest technical standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this challenging role, you will require:
* 5+ years in a technical audio or systems engineering role.
* Advanced understanding of professional audio technologies (digital consoles, wireless systems, etc.).
* Strong understanding of professional communications technologies (Clear-Com, Riedel, etc.).
* Experience with IT infrastructure management (Windows and Mac server environments, networking, cybersecurity basics).
* Proven experience managing or mentoring a team.
* Excellent communication skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
* Ability to work under pressure and solve complex technical issues quickly.
* A positive, proactive attitude and an ability to lead by example.
* Knowledge of industry-standard software like Dante, QLab, AutoCAD, or Vectorworks.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
