Maintenance Scheduler / Maintenance Administrator

£25,000 – £30,000 + Excellent Progression + Stable, Growing Business
Full-time | Office-based | Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (1 hour lunch)
Join a rapidly expanding specialist repairs, maintenance and compliance contractor with over 30 years’ experience.
My client is a long-established fire and electrical compliance provider supporting local authorities, housing associations, and other public sector landlords across London, the Home Counties, Central, East and Southern regions of England.
With over c.500 staff in the group and a £60m+ turnover last year, the business continues to grow at pace following recent investment and the acquisition of a second compliance company.

The Role: Maintenance Scheduler
A key role in the division, you will support surveyors, multi-trade operatives and electricians by managing customer contact and coordinating daily schedules.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
* Booking and managing appointments for surveyors and multi-trade operatives
* Scheduling damp & mould surveys, follow-on works and compliance visits
* Liaising with residents, housing officers and field teams
* Managing diaries, confirming access and ensuring efficient routing
* Updating internal systems with job details, notes and completed tasks
* Handling re-arranged visits, cancellations and urgent priorities
* Ensuring all works are compliant with contractual KPIs and SLAs
* Providing excellent customer service to residents and clients

Ideal Candidate
* Experience in maintenance scheduling, repairs coordination or working for a construction services contractor
* Confident communicator with excellent organisation skills
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
* Strong customer service background, ideally within social housing
* Able to manage multiple diaries and changing priorities
* IT-literate with good attention to detail
* Excellent people skills, with a friendly can-do demeanour
* Will need to drive to office.
Package & Hours
* Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 (depending on experience)
