* Salary: £47,673 - £56,088 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience)
This is a pivotal leadership role focused on supporting teachers, raising standards, and driving student success. As Group Head of Culinary Arts at West Suffolk College, you will lead a team of staff to deliver outstanding teaching and learning, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and inspection readiness.
Working closely with senior leaders, subject leads, and pastoral teams, you will enhance teaching effectiveness and keep students at the heart of everything you do.
You will combine leadership with a hands‑on approach, contributing to teaching and assessment while managing performance, staff development, and compliance. You will also oversee departmental resources, including kitchens and the college restaurant.
We are seeking a passionate and visionary leader with strong industry knowledge, a commitment to quality, and the ability to inspire both staff and students to succeed in the culinary sector.
