Join to apply for the TYA National Clinical Lead role at NHS Tayside. This is a 2-year fixed term post, up to 2 sessions / PAs per week. This advert is for a single post and is replicated on JobTrain under all NHS Scotland Health Boards.

Responsibilities
* Champion TYA cancer services on behalf of the MSN CYPC.
* Chair the National TYA Multidisciplinary Advisory Team (MDaT) meetings, lead the TYA Clinical Advisory Group, and lead on TYA aspects of other working groups (including after-care, paediatrics).
* Represent TYA interests for the MSN CYPC on national working groups and relevant meetings.
* Report directly to the National Clinical Director, working closely with the TYA National Lead Nurse, the National Network Manager and the National Nurse Consultant in the ongoing evolution and development of the MSN CYPC.
Qualifications and experience
* Currently working within clinical/medical paediatric, TYA or adult cancer services in Scotland and/or adult or paediatric cancer surgery.
* Knowledge and skills to credibly champion the MSN CYPC across NHS Scotland.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lead and promote collaboration across organisational and professional boundaries.
* Deep understanding of the complexities of delivering cancer services to teenagers and young people.
* Available for a secondment for a fixed-term period of two years, with the possibility of extension for a further two years.

* Part-time commitment: up to 2 sessions / PAs per week.
