About the Role
Simply Education is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Gravesend from January. This is a full-time teaching role within Key Stage 2, ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons, raising attainment, and creating a positive learning environment for pupils aged 7-11.
You will become an integral part of the school community, working closely with colleagues to raise standards and contribute to the wider life of the school.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
Assess, track, and report on pupils' progress in line with school policies.
Establish strong relationships with pupils, fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom culture.
Work collaboratively with the year group team and wider teaching staff.
Maintain excellent communication with parents and carers regarding pupil progress.
Contribute to school initiatives, meetings, and extracurricular activities where required.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Recent experience teaching within KS2 (Years 3-6).
Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies.
A commitment to raising standards and providing high-quality education.
Enthusiasm, resilience, and a passion for working in primary education.
