Your role as a Meallmore Second Chef will include:
* Assist the Head Chef in planning, preparing, and cooking meals according to dietary needs.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Prepare and serve food in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with other departments for seamless service.
* Stay updated with industry trends and introduce innovative ideas.
* Manage food budgets and minimize waste.
Skills and Requirements:
* Knowledge of nutrition, dietary requirements, and food allergies is desirable.
* Strong culinary skills and creativity.
* Proficiency in food safety practices.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Relevant culinary qualifications are desirable.
* Ability to influence menu options.
