We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our dynamic Adult Allergy Service. This is an exciting opportunity to develop specialist nursing skills in the care of patients with a wide range of allergic conditions.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based nursing care, supporting clinics, day case procedures, and diagnostic testing within the Allergy service. The role involves close collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care, education, and support.
If you have are a Registered Nurse - Adult, with current NMC registration, has excellent communication and organisational skills, with interest in developing specialist knowledge in allergy nursing and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, then this job is for you!

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver patient-centred care in both outpatient and day-case settings.
2. Assist in allergy testing, immunotherapy, and supervised challenges under guidance.
3. Monitor patients during procedures and respond to adverse reactions following Trust protocols.
4. Provide education and support to patients and families regarding allergy management.
5. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service audits and quality improvement initiatives.
6. Participate in ongoing professional development and specialist training in allergy nursing.
