Principal Engineer – Nuclear Substantiation (Site) \n We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role. \n Salary: £60,000 + depending on experience \n Authoring and managing nuclear site assets’ design substantiation documentation supporting the site nuclear safety case \n Reviewing analyses, assessments, and calculations supporting nuclear design substantiation \n Supporting periodic review of safety \n Supporting the implementation of design substantiation requirements \n Working closely with a broad range of stakeholders including Site Safety Case, Human Factors, and Engineering Authority Teams \n Support in the development of other Nuclear Substantiation team members \n Collaborating with the wider business on site assets nuclear design substantiation related activities \n Experience of the nuclear industry and nuclear safety regulations \n Degree qualified in a STEM subject or equivalent working experience. \n Ability to produce high quality technical reports \n Broad understanding of multiple engineering disciplines \n Chartered Engineer from the Engineering Council and a member of a relevant professional body \n Nuclear design substantiation analysis and assessment exposure/experience \n As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, a...
