This role will cover the Nottingham and Lincoln areas.
So what would you be doing?
1. New business acquisition, specialising in commercial businesses in your local community, who want a different approach when it comes to their commercial lending and banking needs.
2. Be an expert on our products designed for commercial customers; these include service lines, commercial lending, deposits, asset finance, invoice finance, cash management and FX.
3. Working and establishing a strong and trusted introducer base in your local community, working closely with the professional community which will include attending networking events, hosting events and generally being the banker of choice as we continue to build Metro Bank.
4. Leading a Local Business Manager, supporting them with their personal development as well as creating customers in their local business community.
5. Building amazing relationships with your internal colleagues to provide our customers with a first class experience across all areas of Metro Bank.

What you will need:
1. Passionate about providing unparalleled levels of service and convenience for customers.
2. Able to work and learn quickly in a fast paced, fun and dynamic environment.
3. Proven track record in sourcing and engaging with new customers and growing the Bank.
4. Care about doing a great job and exceeding expectations with the quality of what you do.
5. Demonstrate a passion for understanding and getting to know local businesses (these businesses will range in terms of size and industries).
6. Writing credit papers – you will need to understand a balance sheet and have a good eye for detail.
7. Leading teams (small or large, we don’t mind too much) - looking after your Local Business Manager is one of the most important things you do every day.
