INTEREST is a new digital journal from Moneyfacts, using historic data, editorial, and graphs to inform readers about interest rates and their effects on the economy, published every six weeks.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Data Journalist to join the team producing INTEREST. The successful candidate will produce high-quality content, develop ideas, research thoroughly, and work with the Data & Analytics department to source relevant data and statistics, both current and historical.
Essential Skills/Experience
* Ability to simplify complex financial, economic, and business facts for a broad audience.
* Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce original, compelling copy.
* Experience creating high-impact communications in various formats.
* Previous experience as a Journalist or Writer in financial services.
* Understanding of journalism ethics.
* Keen interest in current affairs.
* Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and research historical information.
* Critical thinking skills.
* Experience with data visualization tools.
