A well-established and highly respected law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated conveyancing specialist to play a key role in shaping and leading a growing team, with a clear pathway to heading up the conveyancing function as part of the firm’s wider growth plans.

The Role
From a recruitment perspective, this is a senior-level conveyancing role combining fee-earning, supervision, and leadership responsibilities. The successful candidate will:
1. Manage and supervise members of the residential conveyancing team, ensuring consistently high standards of client service
2. Oversee a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold, leasehold, new builds, and shared ownership
3. Provide technical guidance and support on complex conveyancing matters
4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, lender criteria, and internal policies
5. Monitor team performance, set objectives, and support ongoing professional development
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, and other stakeholders
7. Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and client experience
8. Support the Head of Department in delivering strong financial performance and diligence, both personally and across the team

About You
9. Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive
10. Significant experience in residential conveyancing
11. Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a conveyancing team
12. Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing procedures, SDLT, Land Registry requirements, and lender panels
13. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
14. Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure
15. A proactive, collaborative approach to team leadership and client care
