Senior Compliance Manager – Law Firm (West London)
We are working with a highly regarded law firm in West London, seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to join their leadership team. This is a pivotal role for an experienced compliance professional who can provide strategic guidance and operational oversight across all areas of risk, regulation, and professional standards.
The Role
As Senior Compliance Manager, you will:
1. Oversee all aspects of regulatory compliance, ensuring the firm meets its obligations under the SRA and other relevant bodies.
2. Lead and manage the firm’s compliance framework, policies, and procedures.
3. Act as the key point of contact for compliance matters, providing clear guidance to partners, fee earners, and support staff.
4. Conduct audits, risk assessments, and file reviews to safeguard quality and minimise exposure.
5. Provide training and updates on regulatory developments and best practice.
6. Work closely with senior stakeholders to embed a strong culture of compliance across the firm.
About You
7. Significant compliance and risk management experience, ideally within the legal sector or other regulated professional services.
8. Strong knowledge of SRA Standards and Regulations, AML, GDPR, and other relevant frameworks.
9. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
10. A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
11. Experience leading and mentoring a compliance team is desirable.
