Contract: Long-term cover until July 2027 (potential to go permanent)
Pay: £168 – £230 per day (dependent on experience)

The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Art Teacher to join the school from September 2026. You will deliver engaging and high-quality Art lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering creativity, confidence, and a passion for visual arts. The role involves contributing to a vibrant Art department that values innovation, high standards, and inclusive practice.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver inspiring Art lessons in line with the national curriculum and the school’s values
Encourage creativity and experimentation across a range of media and techniques
Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to support student progress
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Contribute to extracurricular activities such as art clubs, exhibitions, and whole-school projects
Uphold the school’s ethos of respect, aspiration, and personal development
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related subject
Experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge, including a range of artistic techniques and styles
Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills
A commitment to nurturing creativity and supporting student development
