This is a unique opportunity to join an alternative education provision in Cheshire that blends traditional teaching with outdoor, hands-on learning. You’ll deliver Functional Skills (Maths & English) and PSHE to small groups of learners with SEND, in a setting that includes stables, open fields, and real-world experiences. This role is initially offered on a temporary basis, with a clear pathway to a permanent placement for the right candidate. You’ll work in a flexible, learner-led environment where creativity, adaptability, and relationship-building are key.

This setting offers a refreshing departure from mainstream education,bining academic learning with animal care, outdoor activities, and therapeutic approaches. The provision supports young people with SEND, helping them build confidence, independence, and life skills through a curriculum that values flexibility, engagement, and purpose.
What You'll Need to Succeed
1. QTS, QTLS or significant teaching experience
2. Experience or strong interest in working with SEND learners
3. Confidence delivering Functional Skills and PSHE
4. Ability to adapt between classroom-based and practical, outdoor learning
5. Creativity, resilience, and a relationship-focused approach
6. Willingness to work in a non-traditional setting (no animal experience required)
