Responsibilities
* Manage a complex caseload with confidence and expertise, providing high-quality social work in long-term settings.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments that adhere to statutory guidelines, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young families.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective care plans.
* Prepare thorough reports for court proceedings, maintaining high standards of documentation.
* Build strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies, advocating for their needs and rights.
Requirements
* Degree or equivalent in social work and current registration with Social Work England.
* Significant frontline experience within UK social services as a qualified social worker.
* At least three years of experience with Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and court work.
* Three years of experience in a permanent role as per DfE guidance.
