We are working with a long-established veterinary group that has 4 practices across Devon as they look for a new Director to oversee the clinical, commercial and cultural goals of the board.
About you:
While MRCVS registration is certainly a bonus and will let you work more closely with our clinicians, we are not making it a strict requirement for success in the role. You will however have excellent knowledge of the veterinary industry and previous leadership experience. You should be aware of challenges faced within a first opinion setting, and be confident in confronting said challenges to set & achieve our long-term foals.
The Job:
This role will have ultimate responsibility for fostering the work-place culture, quarterly profitability targets and long-term growth of the organisation. Your time will be spent in management meetings, operational decision to hit delivery on financial KPIs, managing the service to deliver high-quality patient care and recruitment / HR where needed.
You will report directly into our Senior Leadership Team, and have our own Lead Vets, Head RVNs and Practice Manager report into you.
On-Site:
We are fortunate to have already applied investment into the practice and offer a fantastic range of services across the group. Complex, 3-D scanning equipment, digital radiography, endoscopy kits, dental imaging, and separate wards for dogs, cats and exotics are as standard. We also offer cryosurgery, pet euthanasia, cremation dietary advice and have a growing exotics service for your more niche companions.
Remuneration:
Alongside a competitive salary of up to circa £90,000, we are proud to offer:
