Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in a health and social care setting. Understanding of this setting is not essential but would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, cleaning of residents bedrooms, deep cleaning communal areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and elevators
- Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
- Provide excellent customer service to clients
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
