Hays are working with a fast‑growing FMCG business supplying premium branded products to retailers across Ireland. Thepany has seen significant growth in recent years and now requires amercial Manager to support their next phase of expansion.
Your new role
You will lead the sales and purchasing functions, working closely with suppliers and major ROI convenience retailers. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing key accounts
2. Negotiating pricing and promotions
3. Overseeing product listings and pricing accuracy
4. Protecting margin performance
5. Managing stock levels
6. Introducing new ranges
7. Maximising revenue opportunities
8. Lead a smallmercial team and work closely with senior leadership.
What you'll need to succeed
9. Strong experience in a similarmercial or sales management role
10. FMCG background with exposure to ROI convenience retailers
11. Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
12. Good numerical and analytical ability
13. Strongmunication and relationship‑building skills
14. Experience in food distribution is desirable
15. Ability to start quickly is an advantage.
