Role Description
CJK is growing – and we’re looking for brilliant people who care about making schools work better.
We’re looking for a new team member to join us as a Project Manager / Consultant. We’re particularly interested in people with experience in the following areas:
🔹 Business Analyst / Researcher
Perfect for someone who enjoys getting under the skin of how things work. You’ll dive into trust data, stakeholder feedback and financial models, spotting insights that help leaders make smarter decisions. You’ll be fluent in spreadsheets, pivot tables and logical thinking – and just as comfortable engaging with senior leaders as you are cleaning a dataset.
🔹 Project Manager
You’ll keep our client’s complex projects, such as Multi Academy Trust mergers, running smoothly - as well supporting the internal project management of our reviews and investor due-diligence work. You’ll bring structure, calm, and clear communication. PRINCE2 or equivalent experience would be great, but we’ll support training if you’ve got the mindset and approach.
We’re especially keen to hear from Teach First Ambassadors who may also have developed some relevant business and consulting skills since teaching, and now want to bring those back to the sector to influence improvement at scale.
You’ll join a small, high-impact consultancy where you’ll work directly with CEOs, CFOs and investors shaping the future of UK education. Expect variety, responsibility, and plenty of learning.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a relevant role (e.g. consulting, research, project management, or business environment)
* Degree-level qualification preferred
* Experience working with schools, multi-academy trusts, or the wider education sector
* Salary £20k - £30k depending on experience.
