Within the construction environment you will help buy materials, manage large projects, ensure health and safety, and deliver excellent customer service. You will work on nearly 400 developments across the UK, from brownfield sites to adapting existing buildings such as former factories and hospitals.
Responsibilities
* Support the Site Manager in coordinating trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme.
* Work with the Sales Team, ensuring regular Sales/Build meetings are attended, all procedures are followed and show‑home inspections carried out.
* Take responsibility for duties assigned by the Site Manager and deputise for the Site Manager when required.
* Ensure the on‑site construction team is fully resourced, well‑directed and given clear guidelines, effective communication, training and development, and efficient workload and resource organisation.
* Deliver excellent customer service in line with company guidelines.
Qualifications
* Experience working within established build programmes.
* Assertive delivery of targets by the on‑site team and trades/labour.
* Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
* Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders and/or NVQ level in Construction Management, or a time‑served tradesperson with extensive experience of the construction trade.
* In‑depth knowledge of construction trade practices and relevant legislation, e.g. Health and Safety, NHBC requirements and Building Regulations.
* Strong customer service experience and understanding.
