Our client is currently seeking a Construction Manager to join their team within the water sector. This is a contract role under the Capital Delivery Framework, with work stretching from Cheshire to Carlisle in the United Utilities region. This role involves being fully on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing construction activities within the Capital Delivery Framework.
2. Overseeing project timelines and ensuring milestones are met.
3. Coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Ensuring all work complies with relevant regulations and standards.
5. Monitoring project budgets and ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
6. Supervising on-site teams and contractors.
7. Providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
8. Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety on all project sites.
Job Requirements:
9. Experience in civil construction management, preferably within the water sector.
10. Strong understanding of the Capital Delivery Framework.
11. Excellent project management and organisational skills.
12. Ability to lead and motivate on-site teams effectively.
13. Strong knowledge of construction regulations and safety standards.
14. Proficient in budget management and cost control.
15. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
16. Flexibility to work fully on-site and managing projects across the United Utilities region.
