We are seeking additional dedicated and passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join our expanding nursery at Cedar Children’s Academy. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high‑quality care and education to children in our nursery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working with children and a passion for early childhood education.
Duties
* Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
* Plan and implement age‑appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
* Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and rest periods.
* Observe and assess children’s progress, identifying areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well‑being and development of each child.
* Maintain accurate records of each child’s daily activities and progress.
* Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well‑being of children at all times.
* Assist with general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organised nursery environment.
Experience
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
Required
* Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
* Relevant qualification in childcare or early childhood education (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
