The role of Project Worker will include:
1. Regularly assessing the needs of customers by writing and updating support plans, and signposting access to education, training, and employment
2. Supporting customers in their day to day living i.e., with cooking and cleaning
3. Offering advice in relation to fulfilling tenancy conditions
4. Assisting customers with managing finances and welfare benefits
5. Encouraging social inclusion and helping customers to build their confidence, resilience, and self-esteem
6. Ensuring Sanctuary Supported Living delivers its safeguarding responsibilities
Skills and experiences:
7. Proven experience of working with vulnerable people
8. A positive approach to working with young people who have a range of needs
9. Good interpersonal and customer care skills, with an approachable attitude
10. Effective communication skills
11. Sound knowledge of action/support planning, key working, risk assessment and safeguarding
12. Ability to work on your own initiative
13. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or similar
14. NVQ3 in Health & Social Care, or willing to work towards
