Business Analyst – WL Origination and Pricing

We support our Lending Growth Strategy and expand the Lending Transformation Portfolio, and are seeking an experienced BA lead to bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery, focusing on requirements gathering, process improvement, and solutions.
To be successful as a Business Analyst, you should have:
1. Experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on business and technology.
2. Experience in defining future state processes and analyzing functional requirements.
3. Experience engaging with complex stakeholder groups and working closely with technology delivery teams.
4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Proficiency with Microsoft tools such as Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Visio.
6. Valued skills include:
* Degree-level education or equivalent.
* Knowledge of loan syndication, origination, and trading.
* Experience managing requirements in Jira and documentation in Confluence.
* Familiarity with project management methodologies, including waterfall and agile.
This role is based in London.
Purpose of the role
Support the organization in achieving strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.
Accountabilities
* Identify and analyze business problems and client requirements requiring change.
* Develop business requirements to address identified issues.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet their needs.
* Support the creation of business cases and feasibility studies.
* Monitor project progress and ensure timely, within-budget delivery.
* Design operational and process solutions within scope.
* Support change management activities and ensure successful implementation.
* Contribute to strategy, requirements, and recommendations for change.
* If managing a team, define roles, plan resources, and oversee performance and development.
* Demonstrate leadership behaviours such as listening, inspiring, aligning, and developing others.
* Guide technical teams and mentor less experienced colleagues.
* Advise stakeholders on impacts and alignments.
* Manage risks and strengthen controls.
* Understand organizational functions to support business goals.
* Build relationships with stakeholders and influence outcomes.
* Develop innovative solutions through analytical thinking and research.
